About Point 27

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.”

Matthew 5:9

Who We Are...

Point 27 is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Charity incorporated in the state of Georgia on February 3, 2014. We are an all-volunteer organization with no employees, no salaries or compensation for board members or volunteers. 94% of all funds have gone to our mission with just 6% for administration and fund-raising expenses.

We respect and admire the brave men and women who answer the call of duty and daily risk their lives for the freedom and security every American enjoys. Our vision is to see people strengthened by God’s Word and victorious in life’s battles. Our goal is to share God’s Word engraved on dog tags and necklaces with each member of the Armed Forces, each first responder, and to every family member of a Fallen Soldier or Fallen First Responder.

As of the 2020, we have given 510,000 Scripture engraved dog tags to members of the Armed Forces, 160,000 First Responders, and 28,000 Scripture engraved necklaces to family members of Fallen Soldiers and Fallen First Responders.

God’s Word hanging on a necklace just inches from a person’s heart is a simple, yet powerful reminder that God is with us wherever we go and of His unconditional love.

David Dodd, Colonel, US Army Retired

In the days following 9/11, I was alerted that my unit was being deployed to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. My Command Sergeant Major saw a Dog Tag engraved with Joshua 1:9

“I will be strong and courageous, I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.”

MISSION

To strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their Family Members with God’s Word.

VISION

To give a dog tag engraved with scripture to every member of the Armed Forces, First Responder, and to every family member of a Fallen Hero.
